RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior, in partnership with Tuwaiq Academy, will host the Global Security and Technology Summit in Riyadh from Dec, according to Arab News. 18 to 20, bringing together experts, innovators and decision-makers from around the world to discuss the future of security and technology.
The summit will be held under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, highlighting the Kingdom’s growing commitment to strengthening security systems and advancing digital transformation across different sectors.
Announcing the event, Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif expressed his gratitude to the Crown Prince for supporting the initiative. He said the patronage reflects the Saudi leadership’s vision of developing a modern security ecosystem capable of addressing emerging challenges while embracing technological progress.
According to the minister, the summit will serve as an international platform for cooperation, allowing governments, private-sector leaders and academic institutions to exchange knowledge, share best practices and explore new opportunities in security and innovation. The gathering will also focus on preparing for future developments in the rapidly changing worlds of technology and security.
A wide range of specialized programs, knowledge-sharing sessions and technical workshops will be featured during the three-day event. Discussions will cover key areas such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, smart surveillance systems and crisis management. These topics are expected to play a vital role in improving operational efficiency, strengthening preparedness and protecting national interests.
Ahead of the summit, Riyadh will also host the SAIIF Global Security and Technology Innovation Competition from Nov. 19 to 21. The competition will offer prizes worth SR5 million ($1.3 million) and will focus on innovative solutions related to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and digital transformation in the security sector.
Organizers expect the summit to further enhance Riyadh’s reputation as a leading center for security and technology innovation. The event is also expected to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s role as an influential global partner in shaping the future of security, fostering innovation and building high-quality international partnerships for years to come.
