RIYADH: Fourteen people lost their lives on Sunday after a helicopter operated by Saudi Aramco crashed in the eastern Saudi city of Ras Tanura, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), according to Arab News. Authorities have launched an investigation into the accident, while the cause of the crash remains unknown.
An official source at the Ministry of Energy said the helicopter went down at approximately 6:00 a.m. local time on Sunday. The aircraft was carrying 14 passengers, all of whom were Saudi citizens. None of the people onboard survived the crash.
