Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has warned Pakistan and Turkey that recent U.S. actions could further destabilize the Middle East, saying Tehran is prepared to respond firmly to any act of aggression.
During separate telephone conversations with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Araghchi discussed the latest security developments across the region, according to Mehr News Agency. According to Iran’s Foreign Ministry, the talks focused on growing tensions and the potential consequences of what Tehran described as “aggressive and destabilizing” U.S. actions.
Araghchi expressed concern that continued military pressure could deepen instability in an already volatile region. He urged regional countries to remain alert to the risks of further escalation and stressed the importance of preventing any developments that could threaten peace and security.
The Iranian foreign minister also warned against what he called any “adventurous” military actions by the United States, saying such moves would have serious consequences. He emphasized that Iran remains fully prepared to defend its sovereignty and national interests.
Tehran has repeatedly accused Washington of increasing regional tensions through its military posture and policies, while U.S. officials have maintained that their actions are intended to protect American interests and support regional security.
Araghchi’s latest remarks come at a time of heightened uncertainty across the Middle East, where diplomatic efforts continue alongside persistent security concerns. His conversations with senior officials in Pakistan and Turkey underscore Iran’s efforts to coordinate with regional partners as fears of further confrontation continue to grow.
