Nanded, May 26 – Union Home Minister Amit Shah has declared that the success of Operation Sindoor shows no one can mess with India’s armed forces, people, or borders. Speaking at a ‘Shankhnaad’ rally in Nanded, Maharashtra, Shah said the mission proved India’s readiness to strike back against any attack, reported by GK News.

Shah called the recent attack in Pahalgham by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists “cowardly.” He added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised to track down the attackers wherever they hide. He pointed out that this is not the Congress-led government of 11 years ago and reminded people of India’s strong military response to previous attacks like Uri and Pulwama.

Referring to Operation Sindoor, Shah claimed that on May 7, nine terror camps in Pakistan were destroyed in just 22 minutes. He also said India’s air defence blocked all enemy drones and missiles. On May 9, India reportedly destroyed parts of Pakistan’s air defence system.

“PM Modi has made it clear: if innocent Indian lives are harmed, there will be retaliation. If our women’s sindoor (symbol of marriage) is hurt, the response will be bloodier,” Shah declared, stressing that the government will protect India’s borders at all costs.

Meanwhile, Shah also said Naxalism will be completely wiped out by March 31, 2026. During Operation Sindoor, Indian forces also carried out Operation Black Forest in Chhattisgarh, arresting or neutralizing many Naxals.

He also highlighted steps like ending the Indus Water Treaty and stopping trade with Pakistan, saying, “Modi has said trade and terror cannot go together.”

However, both India and Pakistan have claimed victory over the recent three-day border skirmishes. Analysts point out that these were not part of a full-scale war and suggest that such operations are being used by both governments to shift attention away from serious domestic issues like unemployment, inflation, and political unrest.

Shah also took aim at opposition leaders, including Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar, accusing them of disrespecting national efforts and doing little for the people of Maharashtra.

While the government is celebrating Operation Sindoor as a major success, many are asking if the real battle lies within the countries themselves.
