Pakistan: ‘HVT’ among four terrorists killed in North Waziristan IBO

The security forces on Saturday in a targeted intelligence-based operation killed four terrorists, including a ‘High-Value Target'(HVT) in the general area of Khaisoor of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district, the military said in a statement.

On the tip-off, the security forces effectively traced the terrorists’ location, and in ensuing battle four terrorists, including HVT, a notorious terrorist ring leader, identified as Ibrahim, alias Musa were killed, said a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Ibrahim was a prime target and had been in the wanted list of law enforcement agencies, the military’s media wing added.

In additions, these terrorists were found in possession of weapons, ammunition, and explosives, and involved in numerous terrorist activities.

In the aftermath of the operation, efforts were underway to sanitize the surrounding areas, ensuring the elimination of any lingering terrorist threats.

“[The] security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country,” the ISPR
