Indian PM Modi to visit Russia & Austria next week

New Delhi, July 04: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on an official visit to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Austria from July 8 to July 10, 2024. This visit marks his first return to Russia since his last visit in 2019.

On July 8-9, Prime Minister Modi will be in Moscow at the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation, Mr. Vladimir Putin, to attend the 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit. The two leaders will review the entire spectrum of multifaceted relations between their countries and exchange views on contemporary regional and global issues of mutual interest.

Following his visit to Russia, Prime Minister Modi will travel to Austria from July 9 to July 10, 2024. This will be the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Austria in 41 years. In Austria, he will meet with the President of the Republic of Austria, H.E. Mr. Alexander Van der Bellen, and hold talks with Chancellor of Austria H.E. Mr. Karl Nehammer. The Prime Minister and the Chancellor will also address business leaders from India and Austria.

During his trip, Prime Minister Modi will interact with members of the Indian community in both Moscow and Vienna.__GK News
