SRINAGAR: Two Army soldiers were wounded in a shootout with the militants in Larve area of Kakapora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday night.

The incident comes less than an hour after the killing of a CRPF soldier in a militant strike in the same area.

“In the meantime, a group militants passing through the area had a standoff with the forces,” said the report, adding that two soldiers were wounded in the firing exchange.
