Austria: Kashmir solidarity day observed in Vienna

VIENNA: The solidarity day with Kashmiri was also observed in Vienna on 4th February 2018. Usually the government of Pakistan celeberate this day on February 5th each year to express their solidarity with kashmiris.

But as the February 5th is a working day in Vienna, so the decided to protest on February 4th this year. In this regard, a protest demonstration was held in 1st District of Vienna in front of Indian embassy in Vienna which was headed by the President of PCFA, Mr. Muhammad Nadeem Khan.

Protest started at 13 hour with photos, banners and flags of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. Participants raised slogans and condemneds violation of human rights in indian adminstrated Kashmir.

Prof Mussarat Shaukat Awan, Khawaja Manzoor Ahmad, Naeem Raza Qadri and some other people deliver their speeches and raised the issue of rights violation and demanded the right of self determination for Kashmiris. Interestengly there wer one Sikh also present in this demonstration and express his support for the self determination of Kashmiri people.

The speakers urged the European Union to play their role for the just cause of Kashmiri people.

There were some 100 people who participated this procession on soladarity day in Vienna.

They also formed a human chain to express their solidarity with the people of Kashmir. There were tight security arrangements by the security police in Vienna during this procession which ended peacefully after two hours.
