VIENNA: At the start of the negotiations for coalition with Austrian People’s Party (ÖVP), the FPÖ put a focus on “the labor market is the key factor for government participation,” said Secretary General Herbert Kickl in the party committee quote “Neue Freie Zeitung”.

In concrete terms, he is concerned with reforms regarding the opening of the job market and “uncontrolled immigration”. He also demands to valuate vocational training.

Shortage of skilled labor due to devaluation of the vocational training?

Kickl annoyed, for instance by the “uncontrolled immigration from non-EU countries as well as the complete and rash opening of the labor market for the Eastern EU states”. Both happened “under the hypocritical pretext of the lack of skilled workers, which the red-black coalition has caused with their un-educationa politic and the devaluation of vocational training.” This should attitude must be changed now.

“Sebastian Kurz remained extremely vague”

Negotiator Kickl wants to make changes in the system on the topic for coalition negotiations. He claims that “Sebastian Kurz has remained extremely vague in his program on this topic”. In addition, he has supported all decisions on this issue. “For a change in course , there should be more than one jerk through this party,” says Kickl in the run-up to the talks – “the Kurz ÖVP would have to put a radical change in course.”__Photo Krone Zeitung
