Austria: EU Pakistan Friendship Federation observed 27th October as Black day in Vienna

VIENNA: The EU Pakistan Friendship Federation Austria Chapter; in cooperation with Pakistan Community Forum Austria; organized a protest demonstration in front of United Nation Office in Vienna to express their solidarity with Kashmiri people.

According to the reports of the GEO and Jang Buru-Chief Akram Bajwa, around 70 people from  29 different NGO’s in Austria gathered in front of United National Office at Mohammad Assad Platz in Vienn at around 3:30 pm to express their moral support for ongoing freedom struggle and against Human Right violation in Jammu & Kashmir by the Indian security forces. They were holding AJK Flags and posters, raised slogans and delivered speeches against right violations in Indian administered Kashmir.

Much publicized head of EU Pakistan Friendship Federation; Mr Pervaiz Iqbal lossar did not attend this demonstration, as he missed his flight from Brussel due to no-show.

A memorandum was handed over to the security staff of the UN Office in Vienna by Muhammad Arshad Bajwa (President of EU Pak Friendship Federation Austria) and Khawaja Manzoor Ahmed; General Secretary of Pakistan Community Forum Austria.

The security police was present at the scene to avoid any inconvenience.  Protest ended at around 5pm peacefully.
