SRINAGAR: An official said that three troopers were injured after militants opened indiscriminate fire on their vehicle.

A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man was killed and two others injured on Saturday after militants attacked their vehicle in Pantha Chowk area of Srinagar – summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.

An official said that three troopers were injured after militants opened indiscriminate fire on their vehicle.

“One of the injured troopers succumbed to his injuries,” he said. The deceased was a sub-inspector with 29 BN CRPF.

He said that contingents of police, CRPF and army have cordoned off the area to nab the attackers.__GK News
